Déirdre Kelly manipulates cartography to create her own personalised maps, oscillating between land and water. Maps are tools that provide the means by which we both organise and locate ourselves within a continually changing world. These ‘altered’ maps, live in the magical world of wonder encapsulated in hand-drawn maps and atlases of the past.
